Legal
Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your use of this website, the Alpha eligibility check and the public waitlist ("CL Card", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. About this website
This site provides information about the CL Card product and lets you: (i) submit an eligibility check for the Alpha programme, (ii) submit an application to be considered for the Alpha, and (iii) join a public-release waitlist. Nothing on this site is an offer, a guarantee of eligibility or approval, or a promise that any product, feature or benefit (including cashback) will be made available to you. Availability may depend on your region, applicable eligibility requirements and the Alpha programme.
2. Eligibility
- The Alpha is limited to eligible existing Ledger users in supported regions.
- The public waitlist is currently limited to Australian residents of eligible age.
- Even if you complete the on-site checks, we may decline your application for any reason permitted by law. Submitting a form does not create any obligation on us to accept you.
3. What happens after you submit a form
- Eligibility check: your answers are stored so we can review them. Passing the on-site questions does not guarantee that you will be admitted to the Alpha or receive a card.
- Alpha application: the personal details and wallet pairing information you submit are used to assess your application. We may contact you for further information. Final decisions are at our discretion.
- Public waitlist: your details are held so we can contact you if and when CL Card becomes available in your region. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a card or guarantee a future offer.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only submit information that is accurate and that you are allowed to share.
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful or abusive.
- Keep your 12-word recovery phrase safe. CL Card will never contact you asking for it, and no employee will ever ask you to share it outside of the specific in-product pairing step.
5. Third-party products and services
Ledger hardware wallets and Ledger Wallet™ are provided by Ledger and are subject to Ledger's own terms and policies. Any card, payment or crypto-related service that may be offered in the future will be governed by separate product terms provided at that time, and may be issued by a third party. Those product terms will control in the event of any conflict with these website Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The CL Card name, logo and site content are the property of CL Card or its licensors. Ledger, Ledger Live, Nano, Stax and Flex are trademarks of Ledger SAS, used to describe compatibility. Mastercard is a registered trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use these marks.
7. No advice, no endorsement
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. We do not endorse any specific crypto asset. Any references to specific assets or networks are for information only.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is posted.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CL Card operates, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
